The modular construction of the custom plastic skids from ASAP’s unique plastic formulation provides a plastic skid that withstands the punishment of moving heavy or expensive loads within a facility in a closed-loop system, across the country, or around the world. The ASAP plastic formulation uses 100% post-industrial, extruded polyethylene plastic and other recyclable materials as the basis for an environmentally friendly plastic skid that is water resistant, chemical resistant, UV stabilized and can withstand temperature ranges from ‐20 degrees to +140 degrees Fahrenheit. The ASAP plastic skid assists in the ease of exporting for smooth crossing of international borders.

The strength and durability of the custom modular plastic skid is enhanced by the use of 1/2″ diameter galvanized steel fasteners to eliminate shear and pullout during use of the skid. Fasteners are countersunk to ensure a smooth skid deck, eliminating product damage that often occurs when nails back out of the decking in wood skids.
